Any way third attempt at this peice. Second was going really well. was looking great. Power surge after 10 hours of UNSAVED work..poof!

Like the outfit here better. Need to make it look " real" though. The big question is..face paint, yes or no? I think it's creepier with and with the white too. Thoughts?

Not related but added anyway. Dragon drew at work between customers...then re drew on computer...scanner down. Working on this off and on to take breaks from what-ever I am working on. Change of scenery as it were.

NEW..Added a design for basically a pirate Ion cannon on some engines. Figure you ride it like a motor cycle. Very fast, very maneuverable but no shields and super short range and limited to about 20-30 mins in action.
Also. Aunt Milly, a randomized Obese Very tall, Togruta Bounty Hunter. Figure I will do the whole crew for the Fargul Captain this way. After her is a Very short ( midget) Selcath Mechanic.

The fat lady hasn't sang on the Togruta yet. Remembered to widen the Mystic this time. And with the creepy girl, was originally going to go with whit hair, cause the girl from Hair Potter pulled off creepy well, but went back to dark, still need to finish that little transformation. Doind a rose at one end of the light saber and screaming skulls at the other end. I will hate myself, but going to do a lot of black lace and leather on her to giver her the " Yea I'm Evil, but I still look like a little girl. Maybe you could still save my soul....EAT LASER STICK,!DIE

Came up with this while sleepless at 4-6 am. Tried a few...some interesting results. Please have at, good times be had by all. Share some, draw the best. And Asok...used your Twilek guy..needed outline drawing and I had so few.

Here is a little sketch I did before I leave for work. If there are references to the discblade please let me know or I will be forced to be creative..lol.

So, as I was begining to make arrangments to begin a request, it was suggested that I do the party I am in ( or was, as we are not currently playing). As more people said they cant wait to see it I agreed.

The problem is, after doing a sketch and talking to people, I realized that there are 14 characters in our party, 8 droids, and was going to throw in 6 storm troopers and an officer. This is going to be huge ( and I already draw big ) I may have to leave the droids out. I mean seriously, if you follow me at all you'll notice a trail of incompletes littering the highway. can I drum up enough attention span to do this?

Well with some peer preasure I am going to give it a shot. But this will take me some time. So I will continue to check in but will be under the gun to get this complete or at least show them progress.

Still loadable......Added the NPC Gamorean, Don on the far left and finished Seth's leg and helmet. Added some crates to since we are all about the loot!

Everyone is being drawn seperatly, trace and added here. May want to do basic color on the other pages and re-insert them....we'll see.

I've been working on my hands, trying to strengthen them so that I can start drawing again. I've done some personal projects for myself and some have turned out pretty good and others I'll have to wait until my hands or closer to normal to finish. Here is one them, that I hope to be able to finish soon.

Decided to do a late-night Twi'lek sketch while I should be doing other things. Linguistic-y things...

Here is Scarecrow in his civilian attire.

These are very rough concept sketches only, so don't mind the bad proportions and fuzzy detail here & there. Most importantly, his face doesn't really represent a Jango clone yet - I doodled the first image while at work and had no immediate reference material for the face. For now I am just trying to nail down the look of his outfit & hairstyle. Weapons will also be better detailed in a final drawing.

I hope its obvious enough, I have drawn the thin-suit draped around his neck. I don't think it would be too large or baggy since it would be a tight fit to his head when pulled on. I made his undershirt kind of in the style of a padawan wrap, I may change that... I've also added knee-pad armour, I think he'd appreciate it doing the work he does [he may be kneeling down planting bombs in his civvies sometimes, not always when armoured up?]. And I hope the hairstyle works - I thought that since he is a clone, he'd be using some of that long hair to try and hide his features a bit, but I like the look of a loose top-drawn ponytail. And a bit of facial hair growth, too.

Because the character has special training in demolitions & equipment maintenance, I thought it appropriate for him to have multiple storage for tools & little parts etc, thus the backpack and clip on pouch belt. I am an Industrial Maintenance Electrician myself, and I always have a variety of tools stuffed in pockets while at work in addition to my tool pouch.

Tetsuoh, do you have something specific in mind for the Scythe symbol? I was thinking of incorporating it on the shoulder lapels of the jacket. I think I will be doing a second drawing of him in armor too, I need some ideas for the symbol on it.

Feb 8th/2011 - added another rough concept sketch, this time for his composite armour suit.

Feb 9th/2011 - added final pencil drawing for Scarecrow in his Composite armour.

Feb 24th/2011 - added final marker rendering.

Mar 15th/2011 - deleted the last post [bad proportions!] and added a greyscale final marker version with his head fixed [I hope].

April 4th/2011 - added base color render.

April 9th 2012 - rendered hair in blonde, as he was meant to be.

Felt like blogging this one! Unnatural Gas's request for the group he GMs for; the group of heroes making their way through what used to be a subway system.

Just starting off with my first sketch, working out the basic look of the characters and layout of the piece. Focusing on Vashani (Cathar), Nex (Chiss) and Doc (Ithorian), with the other characters featuring only as 'background' elements really. My favoured look for a male Cathar is the very lynx-like depiction that appeared in one of the Saga Edition rulebooks, which is what I've gone for... UG, if Vashani's player imagines their character with a vastly different appearance, now's your chance to let me know!!

Update 15/10 - Same sketch, but with new-look Vashani! Hopefully this is more in line with the player's mental picture?

Update 18/10 - Just a super quick colour mockup over the rough sketch, seeing what it looks like with the colour scheme I'd very first envisioned.

Update 02/04 - Kind of wishing I didn't date these updates, because the gap between this and the last is just flat out embarrassing! I'm at the stage now, though, where I sort of just want to GO GO GO GO until it's done; but I've hit bedtime now and, well, Mr Unnatural has been so ridiculously good about this whole thing that I think he at the very least deserves an in-progress sneak peek.
