The case of the Missing Zeltron Bodyguard

Forums

Heya guys...

I've been wondering, what happened to the Diasha Zeltron bodyguard images I submitted them the same day I posted they're done -=thread linky on Tue, 04/05/2011. I submitted both the portrait and a closeup.

Did they get lost in the cracks somewheres? Or is the submission que backlogged? or what's the case?

They've been posted successfully on my D.A account for a while now here and here, hence the curiosity.

Derf Had already P.M'd me asking where's the finished pics, and since I wasn't able to give an answer regarding SWAG, I had to point him over to my D.A gallery.

Eclipse says there are still a lot of images missing from when the server went down. He's working on it, though.

Yup, I seen the front page notice by Eclipse for the missing images issue. This case however, the submitted images hasn't even shown up on the front page lineup or let alone added into my gallery (as in requiring guild votes & approval).

Its a couple weeks over-due already. That's why I was asking, did the submissions get eaten by mynoks in the system, and requiring a re-submit? Or is there another reason?

Asok, Since I'm new at doing this, I have a few questions for you about these images.

General rule is, "If you didn't see it in Star Wars, then it doesn't go up on the site"..

These images of TNJ's are still "not published" I'm not sure why, but could it be because of the nipples showing through the top?...

I know that the site is very clean, and is going to stay that way. Since Eclipse didn't publish it, I'm sorry, but it's not my place to do so.

That's probably a good call, to keep with the guidelines. But it's very helpful to email artists when their pieces are rejected for one reason or another, so they can correct the issue. If that's not too much work, that is.

I would have no problem emailing artists... but ultimately it's not my decision. I'll call Kris and see what he thinks. and then go from there... I hate to make decisions on things when it's like.. "Ummm... maybe maybe not..." That's why I haven't approved John's latest work.

Whoa, 8 months later? :p (Sorry, I've been busy working hard at my job the whole 8 months, 40+hrs / 6 days a week... only this past couple weeks i've been getting an extra off or two due to the recent holidays)

Umm, yeah, some sort of email notification would've been nice / would be appreciated when submissions are not approved. Dropping by 8 months later and still not see'ing them in the gallery makes me go "Huh?"

I didn't think perky 'nips' would've been an issue on a sporty tank top. I guess I don't think nothing of it since its often a common site going anywheres in public, a woman can be properly formerly dressed such as a Bank Teller and you'll still come across perkyness showing through the blouse. If that was the case, then i'm sorry to say that it would've been a ridiculously easy fix to make and a couple hours of re-rendering time. If I only would have been notified.

Most things in the 3d content library I can usually tweak or adjust. That particular shirt is the way i bought it, has the "perkyness" as part of the shape. Would take a little work but could be "fixed".

Though there's yet another Zeltron submission I had in around the same time frame this summer "Agency Dossier: Ynnara" D.A links to see for yourself: Ynnara and Ynnara Closeup

I'm honestly not seeing anything that would be objectionable in content, clothing, or apparel. I've got a few more images in the works along the same theme. Is there anything wrong with those? If so, what is it?

I guess the whole point here is that these days I don't get a whole lot of spare time to myself to just "doodle, create & render" anymore. Nor have I had much creative energy to start something, let alone to start one and carry it through to finish. Its still a hobby I still actively sink some money into, purchasing new content whenever I can spare a few dollars.

It would be nice to know what's happening. I've got more renders I'm doing my best to finish and ready for submission.

Thanks,
TNJ.
