I'm currently doing a WEG SWd6 campaign set in the Thrawn era where the PCs are a part salvager team and part merc company.
They have recently gotten hold of a lot of broken Tie parts and disassembled Clone War surplus, including several crates of V-19 torrent wing assemblies including lasers. The engineer/tech specialist got the idea of marrying a TIE ball cockpit to with a V-19 wing set and souped up lasers, and after some heavy brainstorming and some serious tinkering he actually got one working.
He's now working on creating at least a squadron on these ugly-type starfighters he dubbed the V-Tie to use as ship defense and ground attack craft.
I would like to have a picture of the V-Tie ugly to show the rest of the group.

Claim...though Ships are not currently my thing...My recent work on armor and droids makes me want to do some metal smithing, so to speak.
When you are done with that Casca1967, and since you say armor is more your thing, perhaps you could work on a suit of armor for my shocktroops in my story line. Your choice of course.
Done. And probably not for a while...just handed a huge plate full of work to do.
Awesome, now to find an artist willing to design capital ships and troop shuttles.
