Online SW Roleplaying

This site is naturally full of Star Wars roleplayers, and I'm curious where it is you guys go to actually play Star Wars games.

Myself, I currently play at a slow little forum my friends and I set up to carry on a tabletop game after we couldn't meet up regularly any more, but I'm always looking for new places to go.

Years ago I played some eMail-RPG, but I didn't like it. Then I played in a Roleplay-Guild in SWG(before the revamp).

Currently I play Pen & Paper with some friends and am running a small but quite stable forum which has or had players from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

I usually play SW play-by-post RPG's at www.rpol.net . I usually play ye olden West End Games D6 but there are games at RPoL that use both the old D20 and Saga systems.

Our games is run on a big Star Wars-turned-general movies forum that I've been on for about 5 years. We have two games we swap between playing, one taking place during the Prequel Trilogy (playing that one right now) and one that is Original Trilogy.

It's tabletop converted to play online, but it's a 100% homemade system. It used to be based off of Feng Shui (none of us are fans of d20 or the official SW system) and now it's closer to White Wolf, but also still very different.

We play the d20 now. Never played online. Used to play d6 and will prob do again ( currently playing 1st addition AD&D)
Heck it's 2008 almost nine and we still play Twilight 2000, never rule anything out.

there's quite a Star wars role play community in Second Life, with many regions devoted to RP

i've contributed to building a couple of star wars projects on there.

It would be The Red Dragon Inn for me

The cite introduced me to SW RPG's although there are only a few, and only one active (MINE)

I am a little late on this one. But: http://swrpforum.proboards3.com/index.cgi

Its chat-based on Yahoo (Conferences, and ims now) turn based - paragraph gaming. Its been running for nearly six years, I think. Its still pretty active, aside from the slumps due to reasons having to do with life (because sometimes you just can't avoid it).

When it comes to computer games for Role Playing, I played Jedi outcast and Jedi Academy. I help to found a family named Adept, then later took the name Baxian. Most members began to write fan fic about their characters. Thats pretty much how we would role play.

Ours is a chat room based rp -no dice, it's been going for about 4 years. just a small group of regulars, it's fun, sometimes we'll have two or three stories going on at once thought, so it gets confusing..
