That was actually pretty cool, like a motion comic book they sometimes put as a special feature on DVD releases of superhero movies.

And who doesn't love Lupe Fiasco? ;)

I thought it was very well done. And full of things I did not know since I dont follow the comics or the novels at all....Perhaps I should

Nice work. Adobe AfterEffects?

I gotta admit, you've done a good job of selling me on those comics. Maybe if I get 'em, my Legacy Era Campaign Guide will become interesting...

Haha, I'm afraid I'm in Dred's camp on this one. I found the music easier to handle than I was anticipating, to be honest, but I am... very much not a fan of electronic alterations to vocals. It hurts my old fashioned sensibilities.

That aside, the vid was cool.

Ah! I forgot about the music - I confess, I muted it a few seconds in. :P

thanks glad you guys like it.
legacy is one of my favorite comics. its a great comic that i would highly recommend.
when i tell people about legacy i tell them that its the rock and roll version of star wars.
the skywalker in it is a drug addicted, selfish, bounty hunter who hunts jedi and turned his back on his jedi heritage. it still feels like classic star wars while being original and new.

i just used windows movie maker.

about the music, yeah everyone has their own taste in music.
i used lupe because i noticed that most other fan made music videos almost always have some linkin park, three days grace, evanescence or some other rock type music.
i just wanted to use some music that i don't see people use that often for these type of videos.

but while i usually dont like most of the pop type stuff that often uses autotune.
lupe's music is the one exception because his music is so much deeper and has actual substance to it unlike most pop autotuned music these days.

Very, very nice. Loved it. Great lay out of the story. I'm not a big fan of that type of music myself, but you did a good job with it.
And you'll only get better with time, as we all know.
So keep at it. ;)

Nicely done - I can see why you chose that song, the lyrics flow & follow what you presented there about Cade. Personally I can't stand autotuned vocals either, but the lyrics & were appropriate.

I'll have to say nicely done...

I don't think I heard of this artist...

Normally I don't care for singers that use digitizing software - more to the point of B.Spears and the like that try to pass their singing as "musical talent".

I'll make an exception for this song. The main chorus isn't just digitized, its noticeably over-digitized and likely on purpose... Whereas the rest of the song is mainly rap.

Anywhoo, the mood of the song really sets the tone for the picture show, and the choice of pictures in said sequence fit great together. The lyrics if anyone cares to listen closely (does anyone ever really listen to the lyrics in music anymore?) to them, very much describe Cade Skywalker's life, views, perspective, and general outlook on the whole galaxy. Cade's hateful, spiteful, conflicted, reckless, and restless. Yet there's only one real bright spot and that's Deliah Blue; sadly he's even blind to that most of the time until a certain point...

Keep on making music vids. You've got a knack for it.

:)
