I've been lost, and found...

Y'know, its a real fun trip when you set the nav computer to Bespin's co-ordinates, pull the hyperdrive lever, watch the stars stretch into pinstripes. And somewheres partway into the trip, the hyperdrive whines in protest before it conks out, and stranding you in some little little traveled sector which only has numbers for a designation. Then the dredge of waiting out the days counting down each one until theres no food rations left, while drifting about endlessly like a Robinson Crusoe on a raft. (or going stir-crazy)...

Anyways, not really... but it kinda feels that way for the whole year I've virtually been away from SWAG. Life's just been crazy busy, its hard to figure out where a whole year has gone. In that time i've made a few SW renders, but i've somehow neglected to post them here at SWAG also (as you may have noticed by the post dates in my DeviantArt gallery.

But perhaps, a bit of an absence can be good. Somehow over the last year, I've just not had much of an interest in SW, maybe it was because I was almost 24/7 at the holonets since 2002, or maybe theres still some things about the SAGA edition that I still don't like and its been a big turn-off as all sw games and discussion has been SAGA based. Or maybe it was those things and life just got crazy busy to fill that void which gave me little or no time to do much rendering, let alone a few sw renders in the mix.

Just recently, I've been invited into a new swrpg game, a d6 based game. I've never played d6, despite collecting its books for useful information, so I'm quite hyped about it, just putting the finishing touches on my new characters stats and background for Kha'hrrun, Togorian Pathfinder.

I do have more sw projects half or partially finished, that I really should pickup and complete them to post here.

I might pickup a request or two, but we'll see. I can only do requests for which I have the 3d model resources for in my library, or creatively put together with a little extra modeling myself. But I'll take a look and see anyways, try to help out whittle down some of the older requests normally passed over. Life still can be busy, so we'll have to see how it all works out.

But in the meantime, its great to be back with a renewed interest in Star Wars :)

Whats for lunch? Hmmm, lets see... We've got a packet of field rations, or a serving of female Togorian... And I hear a serving of Togorian is best left for later at night, otherwise having Togorian for lunch can leave one exhausted for the rest of the afternoon... Take your pick Hish ;)

Asok

When you say "a serving of female Togorian", are we talking about food, or raucus, dangerous sex?

(snikers) Oh, I dare not answer that one! Thats why I left it open ended. (grins)

And don't look at me, its Hisham who helped started it ;)

Next up on the menu: A spicey side slice of Sith with choice of dark side or light side sauce, and choice of garnish :)

Ha ha ha!!!

On a less culinary tone - man, we're always here to come back to, don't you worry!

(BTW - whatever happened to the SWAG sandwiches, anyway??)

TNJadeonar

(shouts ) More garlic sauce for Hisham!!!

*waiter comes back distressed* But thats all the garlic sauce we had!

*looks at waiter* So give him the horseradish sauce!

*waiter shudders* not the Thakwaash horseradish sauce

Yup! the horseradish sauce from Thakwaash.

*waiter* But sir! don't you think he'd notice?

*moment of exchanging looks*

Nah ....

Aww thanks Mercy :)

As for the sandwiches, anyone ask the swag mascot Nibs????
