This may seem like a stupid question, but I've been trying to download a few of my requests to my hardrive and, while the dialogue box says it's going to be a JPEG, the file I end up with is something called a PREVIEW file, which I'm unable to open. Aside from just asking the artist to e-mail the file, is there any prefered way to download art from the galleries that perhaps I'm unaware of?

When you download the file, edit the filename - that is where you are having problems - most of these files have a ".preview" as part of the filename and that can throw off some file viewers. ACDSee doesn't have a problem with this, you ought to try it out.
