Here's an idea for a Zeltron grifter (Con/Theif) I plan to play in a home campaign. This is watercolor on a scrap piece of watercolor paper I had laying around.
Thanks Asok. Normally I don't work on the cheap canson watercolor paper because 1)I dislike the texture 2) it's harder to do clean pencil lines on 3) there is some kind of a processing film on the paper itself that doesn't let the watercolor sink in very well.
Other than that thanks. I applied some liquid masking to this in the corset area and pulled it off after I was done, though I did the belt pattern without it.
It's not so hard really, it all comes down to control of the brush in your hand. In hindsight I could have done the same thing to the corset (I just didn't realize it until I had done the belt w/o the masking fluid). I don't normally use liquid mask because I have a fair amount of control of my brush and paint, but when it comes to larger areas or specific areas I don't want paint on I put it down. I think I've used it twice now in the past 5 years or so. I had to buy new masking fluid because my bottle had turned to rubber.
Fantastic! That texture...
She reminds me a bit of Ziggy Stardust.

The effect on the corset is great, but the fact that you did the belt without using masking fluid has me floored! Really, really nicely done!

Yeah, Ziggy Stardust + Jynixe = WONDERFUL!! >=-D
Very awesome!!
Oh wow, she's beautiful.
Also, it's great to see another Zeltron with white(ish) hair. Everyone said I was crazy when I gave my zeltron engineer white hair.
Although looking at this more closely, I guess her hair is really more of a light blue.
Oh well, still crazy I guess :)
Its platinum, I used blue and pink as shadows
Well I was kind of right then.
I was looking at this on my phone at the time so it was hard to make out the details.
Still beautiful. :)
