So, life's been out to get me for a little while now, and most recently it all got topped off via my computer having a pretty terrible meltdown! The good news is, I've got a backup of everything I was working on! Hooray! The bad news is, it'll probably be quite a number of months before I can get myself a new setup.

The machine I'm currently on... ahhh, well, let's just say I'm happy enough to still be able to do a little internet browsing for the time being. Not a chance of running a decent art program, nor my tablet or scanner (seriously this thing won't even let me get into the control panel, it's ridiculous). So I'm just going to throw out some huge apologies already for what is likely to be a very, very slow period for me... but there's really nothing I can do about it aside from work hard and exercise my patience.

Who knows, maybe at some stage I'll manage to crack out of this slump and get some traditional media happening... maybe.

You won't be able to shake me out of the forums, though!!

What? Tuss is extra adorable in that pic...I seriously wish I were not a broke dude slaving my own junk together..I would so send you some help..need to keep the starwars art and dogs running free. I know that you will artpad a whole lot and keep them for a three day marathon of scanning and uploading..a day I for one cant wait to see

Sorry to hear Tusserk :(

I know how it is, finances are tight. At least you still have net access, and there's always pencil, ink, and paper.

Core to the Quad baby!!!

If your going to complement me, don't tell me my work is neat, cool or awesome. If you really like it, tell me why you like it and what you like about it. Only then I'll take it as a complement.

That sucks, Tuss. Hope you can get a new baby computer soon. In the meantime, you can still take photo's of any non-digital art you come up with, & upload those right?

I am in a similar bind, though not as serious - I got a new iMac last year, but have yet to buy a new scanner & printer. Up until a couple of months ago, I was still using my old computer for scanning my work [the devices were not compatible with my new one, they are THAT old]. When it got moved to the basement studio [gently, not tossed down the stairs:D], for some reason it didn't survive the trip. I am forced to go pay to get any drawings scanned at an office supply store for now, until my budget allows for a new scanner...

But, I can still do digital work, so I am not really complaining.

I read 'RIP, PC' and thought 'Player Character' with some trepidation. Good to see that Tuss is still 'alive' and well, but I feel your pain on losing your comp. Get well soon!
