Chase
This is Chase, padawan to my character Jesse. He's a balosar, but keeps his antennae retracted unless he particularly needs them and thus looks human.
Chase thrives on speed and chafes under Jesse's slow, methodical tutelage, disliking the dull diplomatic missions they tend to get sent on. Eventually, he gets sufficiently fed up and frustrated and refuses to follow Jesse any longer, going back to being an unaffiliated padawan at the Temple. He's sent on missions with other older padawans and inevitably his impatience lands his whole team in a messy situation. Finally realising that he actually does need to learn the lesson of patience that Jesse has been trying to teach him, he asks Jesse to take him as his padawan again.
This picture is of a little while after that. Redoing his braid after a shower, Chase thinks about exactly what the braid, and being a padawan, means.
WIP blog (sort of) here.
This is REALLY good, man! You've done a lot of hard work here and it has totally paid off, don't you think?! I especially love what you've done with his hair.
Thanks! I NEVER thought I'd be able to draw something like that and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. :D
Well, if you never try then you'll never know. If you never push yourself, you'll never find out how far your capable of going ;)
I have to agree with Mercy - great piece of work! Its nice the image lends itself to either being Balosar or Human. And theres only an image or two (one being with a female Farghul fresh out of the by Korris ... It was an unnoficial request by a friend of mine, bathroom mirror steamed up, and with a towel wrapped around to cover up most of the the naughty bits. (bare bottom showing from a behind view) Too bad its not in his gallery.) fresh out of the refresher. Its kinda nice see'ing pieces that are more day-to-day off-hours / at home style.

If your going to complement me, don't tell me my work is neat, cool or awesome. If you really like it, tell me why you like it and what you like about it. Only then I'll take it as a complement.
Hehe, thanks!
I love pictures that show some character, and that doesn't always come out during action scenes.
