I want to make a poster for the darkfall group and will use this as one of the elements. Photoshop and painter like usual, took about 4 hours. I used the same reference for her with ClickPenPixieXstock on deviantart. I will add part of the body once I have an idea of the rest of the layout. I would love to make it similar to Struzan style movie posters.

Scriado,

Your work has come SO far since the old days of swag. Absolutely amazing, I can't wait to see the rest of this. Are you going to sharpen it up? or leave it painterly? Either way it's amazing, I'm really enjoying your new stuff.

Cool, I'm not sure where I'm going to go with this one. What I am planning has another 10 characters spaced about in a collage. I might pencil some of it aswell. I'll keep you updated. The Kara 2007 piece was another I was going to use.

Okay, I'm going to pick my jaw up off the floor now...

That's better. Now I'm going to comment.

Er... wow. My first thought was, "Is that a photo?" Obviously it isn't, but she's just amazing. So real, so... alive! And not just lifelike, either. There's expression and emotion here.

Of course, I feel that way about all of your work, Scriado, but that feeling has built up enough for me to comment on it now.

Very stunning work,

You need more texture and "colored pencil" line strokes to make it look more like Drew's work though. He likes to use a lot of subtle lines in his art, especially in shadow areas.

What part was Photoshop and what part was Painter?

Nothing wrong at all with reference. You still have to draw it. I could use all the reference in the world and still not come up with that. She definitely looks like the reference, anyway...

I hate to nitpick, but it seems to me that her right eye (our left as we look at her) is a little...off.

yeah you right, it was bugging me but I haven't finished the piece and have some editing to do. Thanks for the point.
