Nice start to the sketch. Can you add the little charm that was on Nath's sash from the family pic. I also thought it was interesting addition to his outfit.
Picture-wise- Its a great development over that layer of -Holo-zine?
Damn, tryin' to make star wars words from "magazine" is hard.
But, I like this new shadowed face, effect, fits well with the rest of the pic.
And, as a constructive critic, Those skin lines on his hand, look... out of? uhh? hmmm, Lets see if i can find a word....
This may take a while... In-proportional?, no Out of realism... I really would suck working for the NY times..hmmm
Heh! Cheers guys!
Roz - I am yet to do the rest of the shading and lighting, so hopefully that cleans up the hand thing. As it is the diffused shading on the hand is what makes it look odd, I think.
The picture is Kick@$$, Sweet, Awesome. I forgot all about a price for the comic. That just rocks the way this one has turned out. Nath thought the subtext was in reference to letting people know that he has a girlfriend or so he said. lol.
I would have posted earlier but I just got back from a Bass tournament that I am co-directing with my brother-in-law. We finished dead last with no Bass to show for it.
Hey man!!
Glad Nath approves - I never knew he had a sweetheart?!
Sorry to hear you didn't do so well at the Fishing, did you have to finish early again? I know co-directing can cut into your fishing time...
Anyway, I will post the picture to Gallery and get something sketched up for the next one soon.
Cheers!

It looks great. I dont think the whole structure needs to be in the picture. Anyone who has played the SW:Kotor games will recognized as being the Grove from the planet Dantooine. A great start. I have a story for it just haven't wrote it down yet.
Looks great! Yep, each one of the kids falls into the three Jedi categories. Nath is the Jedi Sentinel, Joss is the Jedi Guardian, and Eliza is the Jedi Consular. Now on to number three. Whoa-ho!!!!
Okay, sketch for Joss' comic up.
Sorry this has taken so long - hubby's had to go to England following a death in the family and I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anything (been, like, 12 years since we've spent more than a night or two apart!)
Will post again soon!
It is looking great Mercy. I just showed Joss the sketches and he thought they were AWESOME! The blaster bolt defelection is excellent as well as the stance and clothing. I am so jazzed about these pics you have done for the kids and all the previous ones also.
Joss is about 19 yrs. old in his first solo adventure of this type. Is he up to the challenge, that is the question?
P.S. Sorry to heard about the loss of a family member. I will keep the family in my prayers and that Chris has a safe trip there and back.
Thanks LC, I'm touched. Really appreciate the support, man.
Glad the sketch and background has gone down well with everyone - especially Joss, himself!
I will continue to work on it today, and will post again soon!
I agree actually. I was trying to keep it in line with the other issues (which all have white lettering for the name) but I think it will need to be datker to be readable...
It looks great Mercy! I am working on the story now to put with the picture and I will email it to you when I am done. The action scene is awesome along with the blaster bolt deflection. He is truly a Jedi Guardian in the making.
P.S. Mercy can you send hi-res copies via email? Thanks.

And the same clothing colours as in the family pic?
New version with slight alterations.
Here's a first colour version with some lettering in.
Will keep going and post again soon!
Love the Sweet Mercy logo.. SWEET! .. LOL.. looks great Mercy
Oh yeah, Mercy, HYPERSPACE! Thats your speed!

Okie-dokie! I think this one's about done!
Let me know if you want any changes made, yeah?
Looks totally sweet Mercy...

New sketch up - not sure if I'll be able to get all this picture on the cover, but I'll give it a go!
Much easier to do the titling with it all pretty much set up already!!

That is an awesome background. Looking great.

Thanks man! Will post again soon...
Okie-dokie - I think this one's done!
LC, let me know if the lightsaber colour is okay. I can easily change it if you need to, k?
Looks great! Yep, each one of the kids falls into the three Jedi categories. Nath is the Jedi Sentinel, Joss is the Jedi Guardian, and Eliza is the Jedi Consular. Now on to number three. Whoa-ho!!!!

Choice! I'll load this one to gallery then...

And here it is with the lettering...
Yay!! Joss is my favorite :-D hes hot ;)
Ha ha! I'm sure he'd be amused to hear that!!
Oh man, what a great pose! I'm loving the Joss sketch.
And just wanted to pass on some well wishes to you and the hubby, too.
Thanks Tussy! Always appreciated, hun.
Okay, here's the background + lightsabers & blaster bolts.
I'm lovin' the action here, Mercy. And I'm a big fan of the Chinese-style shirt.

*Whoops!*
Saved a copy of the base colours but forgot to load it...
So here it is now - as well as the latest! Think this one might be done?
The name needs to stick out a bit more Mercy... it kind of vanishes into the background. Just my opinion :)
I s'pose the lettering could be a bit more vibrant.
Maybe.
But I'm liking this. There is some serious adrenaline in this pic.
I agree actually. I was trying to keep it in line with the other issues (which all have white lettering for the name) but I think it will need to be datker to be readable...
This a bit better?
Yes, looks really good Mercy :)
Cool! Thanks man - will just wait to hear back from LC, then!
nice picture completion!
But did any one notice my repeated message?
Thats really weird I only posted it once...

We all noticed, we just figured you were being really over anxious... :) ... Eclipse can clean it up if he wants.
