A request by Asok for my rendition of his character...

First sketch - thought it was about time he was pictured with a gun!
Not terribly happy with it, though, so had a second try.

Second sketch - bit more pleased with this.

Wow, I really like that headshot too! It's only just occurred to me now that we rarely get to see you do the more 'alien' aliens... what a treat! :)

Oh that is one awesome headshot!!

I do quite like the pose of the first pic, too. Y'know what I discovered and found super useful when I was drawing Asok? XD The fact that Gran actually have a lot in common with... giraffes! Giraffe heads-- especially low angle and front on shots made for some great references when I was playing around with some slightly more unusual poses!

Anyway, totally looking forward to watching this one happen. :D Aliens FTW!
