A light Axe
After seeing the Light Axe request I sat down and penciled out what I saw as a light axe... and was wondering if anyone would like helping me finish it... since I can't seem to do it...

Which part is the energy? Where does the energy emanate from and what shape is it?

Well... in my opinion .. a light axe would look the same on, as it would off... Just would glow if it was on. The part that would glow, is everything but the hilt... That's the way I would see it working best. That way, you could still use the back of it to block with, and the front of it to hack away at.
The idea behind my idea, is a cortosis sheet made to looke like the axe, extends from the saber handle which would have your power source as well as a crystal, and lens, to project the plasma across the corotsis blade. But obviously, it's not what the requestor is looking for, but if you have any sugestions as far as the axe goes, I'd love to hear it...

Okay... My second try for a Light Axe... In this one, the axe part is the only thing lit up... What do you guys think?

If I could Mercy, I would.. unfortunately I can't color to save my life when it comes to adobe.. ((I tried 3 times with it, and it just doesn't look right)) If anyone would like to color it up, that would be nice :) ...

Okay, I got it to THIS point, but still can't figure out how to color things... just not good at it... and may have messed it up by trying.. lol

Er, I thought it might be done? It didn't take long to do, so I'm cool to work on it some more if you reckon something needs doing.
I'm not used to working on weapons for their own sake, or starting with another person's design, so it's been kinda fun to try something different! Let me know what you think, k?

On my ultimate munchkinator character I drew a light axe thing. It was more a long handled double bladed war axe where the only "light" part were the blade tips. Very conan goes glowy kinda thing. I think yours is more refined and mobile.
