Echani Officer
I currently develop a new character: Rane Skye - an Echani "Senate Guard"(in my futuristic setting there is a senate again, but it changed quite a lot).
Since childhood, he was taught the arts of the Echani - including martial arts and the arts of war.
When reaching adulthood, he enlisted to the military academy on Coruscant and promoted with commendation after three years.
When offered a place among the famous Senate Guard he did not hesitate to accept and undergone additional training.
Recently he completed his training and was put into duty.
He can easily be identified as an echani thanks to his white hair and silvery eyes.
Despite he is 23 years old, most people guess he is older, mostly because of his severe look and the shortly trimmed three-day beard.
He wears his hair short and slightly styled.
He is a man of slightly above average build and his dedication to different martial arts, first of all the Echani ones, reflect in a well trained, muscular body.
His personality fits to his appearance - he is calm, thoughtful and disciplined, yet he has two great weaknesses - proud and honor. He can easily be catched off guard when one insults him or his people but has to count on his wrath.
I have two rough pictures of him, though the tool I used is very restricted.

The only thing I really like is the type of helmet and his cloak - everything else is just a rough hint on what I have in mind.
His equipment consists of a light armor with a helmet and shoulderpads, a cloak, a vibrosword, a blaster pistol and a blaster rifle.
But I want to stress that these pictures are just what I could cobble together - I am pretty sure that I would like pretty much anything any artist would come up with - as long as it does not look all to familiar with the "old" senate guard.

Good that no one has taken this request yet - as it quite changed.
After talking with the other players, I've decided to change his affiliation - he now is a "liberal" imperial officer(in our setting(I mentioned it in another request some time ago)we are going to have 2 empires - one radical, "bad" one and a more liberal, neutral one).
His appearance has changed a bit: he really appears to be bulky as he has a broad back and a quite big ribcage - which does not necessarily mean that he is particular muscular. He has crinkles on his forehead and two scars - one on his left eyebrow and one on his right hand. Finally he now wears an imperial-like uniform and later maybe will wear the armor of an imperial knight(which will be reestablished).
So I probably would need 2 versions of him - as an officer and as an imperial knight.

The staff just represents his knowledge of the echani fighting techniques - the blaster rifle his abilities as a soldier.
BUT if you draw him as an imperial knight, I would like him to wield a long dual bladed lightsaber or "lightstaff" - simply a very long hilt in a similar design to the actual staff here with a dark blue blade.
His background:
The story of Rane Skye is the story of a man, who fought against prejudices against his species.
Although he was born on warship and grewed up there until he was in schoolage, from the beginning he was confronted with antipathy against his species. Over and over again he had to to listen to direct or indirect allusions to his species - something that always bothered him.
His astonishing physical abilities, which came along with his origin, had a huge drawback for Rane: hate. He has been the victim of hate, as long as he could remember. To gain approval or respect seemed mere impossible - be it in school, private life or military service.
But Rane had always been a fighter, who never gave up. He simply displayed such an effort, that could not be ignored, despite all prejudices against him.
Graduating with commendation, the young Echani enlisted to the military, in which he gone through a difficult career, as he had to bypass many hurdles.
Only 21 years old, he already received his first medal and was promoted to captain of a corvette, patrolling somewhere in the rear, where he could simply do nothing of relevance.
In his two years as the captain of the ISS Falconry, he coped with so much missions and showed such a great strategic talent, that he did not doubt to receive the command of a bigger ship in the near future - despite any resistance of the high command to promote a Nonhuman being to such a position.

As I still have the chance to change something, I would like Rane Skye to have a companion:
An male albino Tusk Cat called Magyorn. As a Tusk Cat, it needs to be big enough for a human(or echani) to ride it. I leave it up to the artist if Magyorn wears a saddle or even some kind of armor or not.
To sum up the story of Rane Skye and Magyorn:
Rane, as the captain of the ISS Falconry mainly hunted criminals of all sorts: pirates, smugglers and sometimes even poachers.
Usually the poachers in his operational area smuggled creatures who are sought after for their hide, but one of the poacher groups, which the Falconry catched, transported a pregnant tusk cat. For the mother and all but one of the litter help came too late and had died because of the bad conditions. The only survivor was a nearly famished, deranged albino, which Rane Skye cockered and raised up by hand. Once Magyorn became too big to be held in his own quarters, he bought a O-192 freighter in which he keeps Magyorn. Using as many shore leaves as possible, Rane also became capable of riding on Magyorn.
The bond between the two is strong and Rane would even consider to desert if the Empire would force him to remove Magyorn from his ship.
