So, as some of you may know, I lost my dad back in December. Since then I've had a duece of a time trying to draw ANYTHING.  Everything I've tried to create has failed.  Every. Single. Thing.

I don't want you guys thinking I've given up on you.  I love coming here and telling my silly stories of a galaxy far, far away.  And I still have SOOOOOOOO many stories to tell.  I just can't seem to get the drawing to come out right.

My dad was the one who got me drawing.  And, after he passed, I found out he used to show my drawings to every random person he'd meet. Now I just can't seem to hold a friggin' pencil right.

Soon, though.....

Soon I'll have more adventures to share.

Soon.....

Don't pressure yourself...

It's tough to lose someone you're close too, especially when they have so much influence on your life like your father.  You'll draw again when you can get over it.

But if it helps any, I've shown a lot of your drawings to random people as well.  I like what you do, and think you could make it huge as a comic book artist with your own comic.

I hope you feel more normal soon, it's something that no one can make better, just takes time and remembering the good things.  And no one will ever understand how you feel, but we are all very sorry for your loss.

You should see what you can do as far as a "Non Sequitor" type comic strip.  One panel a week to make people laugh.  You'd be great at it!

Much love to you.

I've found drawing to be a way to express and work through grief, and then in other instances, grief has completely stifled my creativity. There's no rhyme or reason to it, and it's nothing that can be forced.

absolutely look forward to the day you can keep a pencil upright long enough to have something to share, but 'till then just keep on taking care of yourself.
