Vess Kutta - Ishi Tib Rebel Scout [Asok]

Vess Kutta, an Ishi Tib, from the planet Tibrin who always dreamed of being a starship pilot. He started practicing with swoops and other small craft he borrowed from family and friends and moved his way up to freighters. Vess became proficient in the area of maintenance and piloting, to point that he would creep up on those same friends and families then scaring them.

When Vess was 18 years old, he took a job flying a freighter. His bosses were constantly receiving complaints about Vess approaching the spaceports unseen then doing fly-bys of the towers or hovering above them without anyone knowing he was there until he hit them with the spotlight. The only reason that his bosses did not firer him was that he was exceptional pilot and reliable.

When the Clone Wars began, Vess garnered attention by the Galactic Republic and CIS, because both sides knew of his reputation for sneaking in and out of a star system without being seen on sensors or visually. He declined the offers from both sides and tried to stick to the shipping business. Since he would not sign with the Separatist, they tried to kill him because they did not want his skills falling into the hands of the Republic. Thankfully, Vess’s skills saved him and in the final year of the Clone Wars, Vess decided to help the Republic by slipping into CIS systems and gathering information for the Republic. This information proved very useful to the Republic and rewarded for his service.

The sudden end of the Clone Wars and rise of the Galactic Empire with its human centric agenda caused many problems with the alien masses. The following decades made it hard for Vess to run a legitimate business, he turned to run contraband for the black market to earn extra credits, and Imperials cracked down on the citizenry.

When the Rebellion burst onto the scene and started to cause the Empire problems, the Empire found it frustrating that they could not pinpoint the Alliances bases or Headquarters. An Imperial officer remembered Vess and his service during the Clone Wars and decided to send a recruiting squad to get him to track down the Rebels. Vess flatly refused to help the Empire and that is when they changed tactics and threatened his family to get him to work for them. He continued to refuse and the Imperial officer finally had enough he ordered his troops to kill everyone in the homestead. Vess took a blaster bolt to one of his eyestalks but managed to escape. He grieved for the loss of his family and then his desire for revenge took hold.

Although he never told the Empire, Vess knew the location of a couple Rebel cells. He approached them and offered his services as a scout and spy. The Alliance accepted his services, replaced his eyestalk and eye with a cybernetic one, and gave him a JumpMaster 5000 to use on his missions.

Vess overhauled the JM-5K, with an improved hyperdrive and sensor suite to better complete his missions. He regularly slips into Imperial held systems and gathers sensitive data that the Rebellion can use against the Empire.

Skin color is a mixture of green and brown.
One of his eyestalks is cybernetic (metallic) with a red cybernetic eye.
His clothing comprises of a tunic and pants (blue) with leather vest and utility belt plus a standard blaster pistol.
He is an accomplished pilot and mechanic.
He is skilled at manipulating sensors as to not appear on scanners.
