The Last Outlaw - #1 - Asha [Tussy]

Hi guys. It's been quite a while since I've been around here. Glad to see you're all still creating such wonderful work.

I have a bunch of new characters I'd like to make requests for, centred around the crew of a mercenary unit from my campaign. I'd like to get as many of them done in the same style as I can but I'll only be making requests for one character at a time. When/if the first one is done, I'll request the second one and so on and so forth. That way I won't spam up the request forum.

The first character I'd like to request is the Captain of The Last Outlaw. Asha is an Annoo-dat Prime male and one of the best mercs around. Annoo-dat are occasionally born with four arms, instead of the usual two and Asha is one such case. Although one of Asha's arms (the lower left one) is pretty badly hurt right now and pretty much useless (he could probably have it fixed by now if he wasn't such a big baby about medical treatment).

He often carries a large sword, mostly for intimidation purposes (lets face it, who wouldn't be intimidated by a huge, four armed dragon man, swinging a giant sword at them?) as well as a pair of blasters. I have no specific request for what he's wearing so I'll leave it up to whoever wants to take this. So long as it's not wildly inappropriate for a mercenary, like Jedi robes or something.

As I said earlier, I'd like this to be done in the same style as the rest of the (future) Last Outlaw requests. I have it pictured in my mind as focusing on the character with a white (or at least minimal) background. But as with all my requests, that's just what I would prefer. If anyone out there thinks they can do something better with the character that requires a background, I won't object.

As always, thanks in advance to anyone who decides to take this request on. Very much appreciated :)

The policy here Anarchangel, is that you can make 3 requests for 1 character each... Or one request with three characters. So feel free to do either of those :)

Also, a lot of the time if an artist picks up one of your requests you can ask him/her if they want to do the rest. some will, some won't, but never hurts to ask :)

Drig

I'm curious if you want a plain white background so that all te characters can be put together in one image at the end? I love that you requested an anoo-dat. It makes me want to draw it but I'm the slowest gun in these parts. Lord knows when you would see a finished product lol.

Anarchangel

I actually never thought about that, Drig. I just liked the idea of them being a matching set or something, since they work for the same unit. The white background isn't really a necessity, it's just how I have them pictured in my head. But as always, it's up to the artist if they want to do something different.

Anarchangel

Hey Xan, I have a question about the point you brought up.

The engineer on The Last Outlaw (who I planned to request after a few of the others had been done) is a Bilar. A group of five squidgy little bear like creatures that operate with a hive mind. While technically they're one character, physically there's five of them.

To your earlier point, would that be going against the rules and asking too much of the artist? It's very confusing :/

Xanamiar

You can request it.... Considering the character.... But the three character rule is set to keep the artist from being overly burdeoned by one request. Up to the artists if they take it, and they might.

Just may take a long time for anyone to take it.

Anarchangel

I thought that and I was initially going to just not bother with that character but then I thought, if I do end up with the rest of the crew, it would be e shame to leave one out....Or five, as the case may be.

I guess it couldn't hurt to ask. I won't get around to that character for a while anyway.

Tusserk

Hey! No promises or anything, but if you want, throw me a pm telling me a little about the whole group? :D The Bilar totally has my attention, hahaha, and who knows, I might just end up inspired enough to go with the 'matching set' thing...

Tusserk

.... okay, I just looked up what Annoo-dat actually look like. And, holy crap, claimed!

(Much as I'd love to see this done by Drig.)
