Force Vision- Mando, Miralukan, Twi'lek, Oh My! [Mercy]

“A being darkly wise and rudely great; with too much knowledge for the Mando side; with too much weakness for the Jedi’s pride; she hangs between, in doubt to act or rest,” (with apologies to Alexander Pope)

This is a request for a Force Vision as seen by a Jedi Master. She (the one having the vision) is not involved in the request.

Setting: I leave this to you. Bella spends a lot of time in the deep forest meditating, so maybe in a clearing at dusk- a relatively dark background. She tends to use water as a meditation aid, so maybe looking at a pool or a basin of water of some sort. She’s not aware of either of the men.

She is extremely conflicted- Miras was her Master, and taught her to be a Force-user in a roundabout way, but Carud is what can be her future. He has adopted Bella’s daughter by Mandalorian law as his own. Bella loves and respects her Master, feels guilty that he died protecting her, but feels the Mandalorian way is where her future lies- the way of the warrior instead of the way of the peacekeeper. Metaphorically, she’s standing on two worlds and needs to decide which way to go.

She is standing or sitting between two humanoid men- a little older, a lot wiser, not as delicate a flower as she was two years ago in the Imperial Palace. She’s had a child, so she wouldn’t be quite as slender as she was before, fuller in the hip and bust than she used to be. http://www.swagonline.com/node/5019 Link to previous request used with Mercy's permission.

Bella is wearing knee boots, slightly form-fitting pants, tunic with Mando breastplate over it (think Obi-Wan in Clone Wars) and a black-and-white paneled Jedi over-robe, very kimono-esque. Her Master gave her the robe before she went into battle on her own for the first time. Her lekku are both down behind her. Very simple headdress, if any. No Mando helmet for her.

Mando male on Bella’s right, helmet off, beskar sword on his hip , extending his hand to her. Element of smoke, shadows, not menacing, just the unknown darkness. He is a BIG Mando…built along the lines of what we would recognize as a Special Forces soldier. He is a good foot taller than Bella. He has green eyes and bronze-brown hair, short but not scalped. In my mind’s eye, he has almost Pacific Islander/ Native American features, including lightly tanned skin, but very masculine. He wears earth-tone colors- green, brown, dark gold, etc. He is in “tracker” armor, which I see as basically a breastplate, greaves (shin guards) over knee-high boots, a dark green kama (half kilt), and leather gloves, but the hand he is extending to Bella is bare and empty. Generic rifle on a strap over his shoulder is optional. His helmet can be on the ground next to him. He just needs to look like an anti-Jedi, someone who would rather swing steel than a lightsaber. He is not aware of the ghost on her other side.

Miralukan Force Spirit on Bella’s left, smoky blue over-robe, white/cream under-robe, sort of Anakin circa Episode III but white/blue instead of black- ornate decoration. He has a suede-like strip of leather covering where his eyes would be, and he is a few inches taller than Bella. Clean-shaven, long black hair, pulled back neatly. Cathar-paw lightsaber grip visible on his belt. He is also extending his hand to her. As a side note: Miras comes from a very different order of Jedi, and Master’s robes were much more ornate and less monastic.

I don’t want this to be a clean-cut allegory; the theme here is conflict. Bella sees the Mando as what may be her and her daughter’s future- a new start away from her past with a new culture, but she has massive amounts of survivor’s guilt towards her Master. She also knows that the rest of the Mandalorian squad she’s been associating with don’t like the Jediise.

I've been thinking about this one and how to start (cause it's a bit of a daunting project!) but I've managed to get a sketch of Bella that I'm kinda happy with.
I'll start a blog and if it's looking okay I'll continue with it - otherwise, happy to leave it to anyone who's got a burning desire for it!

Oh - for the sake of our lovely and hard-working administrators, please consider this request taken!
