Female Twi'lek crime lord and her Mando bodyguard at the Imperial Palace [Mercy]

Her:
Royal blue (and I mean glowing sapphire blue) skin, blue eyes, black tattooed eyebrows, lekku longer than average. Curvacious, running to nicely plump, and very, very feminine. About five six, give or take.

Clothing: (This is long, but please bear with me, I was going for detail as much as possible- the following description is from a work-in-progress of mine and is considered my intellectual property.)

I went into the bedroom and began to lay out my clothes as well. The skirt needed to hang to let the fabric relax. At the last minute, the few shreds of modesty I had left had invoked themselves and I had added side panels to the long white loincloth. After all, I wanted to look expensive and classy, not expensive and easy. But since I was still Bella Tendris, Twi’lek, the seams were slit well up to my thighs. The wide black soft leather belt was encrusted with sapphires set in a silvery metal in a swirling motif, and the black side panels that I had added were embroidered with gray and white Kushiban silk threads that repeated the motif of the belt. The belt rode low over my hips and glittered with every movement. The fabric swirled lusciously around my ankles with every step.

The halter was the crowning glory of the outfit. Two bands, one of sapphires and one of diamonds, crossed and knotted themselves over the edges of the piece, twining beautifully right in the midst of my cleavage, while the fabric between was black shot through with silver threads, so it shimmered beautifully in the slightest bit of light. There was an impressive silvery chain of diamonds that connected the halter itself to the slave collar I had ordered. This was a masterwork in and of itself. I had wanted a collar made of firegems, but the cost for that had made even me blanch. I hadn’t wanted to fuss with that, so I had settled for sapphires and emeralds interspersed with more of the black crystal that matched the chain he had given me. The wrist cuffs repeated the motif, as did the bands on the slippers that matched. I didn’t want to think about how much this had cost. At least the dress itself had been free- I had just had to pay for the collar, cuffs, and slippers. Even that had made me wince. I proudly wore the chain he had given me wrapped artistically over my lekku, the black crystal drops flashing in the light. (a long smooth silvery chain, with teardrop-shaped black crystal drops every so often)

Him:
Standard Mando armor, black plates. Silver and royal blue paint on the edges of the plates. Human, about six two, six three, built on the muscular side. No noticeable insignia except the Mythosaur skull on the right shoulder and a royal blue crescent moon on the left chest panel. Helmet on, of course. Silver cloak, about knee length. No jet-pack or missle launcher.

Setting:
In a guest suite in the Imperial Palace, facing each other, three-quarter profile or so. For comic relief, there could be a door behind her with two holes punched through it at about chest height. A table nearby with jade roses in a vase, a bottle of wine, and two glasses. They are about to go to an Imperial ball being hosted by Thrawn. She is looking up at him and smiling wickedly- she didn't expect he would show up but he did. The song I was listening to as I wrote this bit was "Bad Things", the theme to True Blood, but from Bella's perspective- she wants to do naughty things to her bodyguard ;) So have fun with that if you want to add the aura of innuendo.

Hope this catches someone's eye. Thank you all in advance!

Bwa.

-sigh-

-sigh-

I love the character, but there does seem to be a profusion of blue Twi'leks lately...

On that note: Does anyone know if it's "Tw-eye-lek", "Twee-lek", or "Twih-lek"??? I say "Twih'lek", because the word comes from "twin lekku" (Canon!)...

Asok

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be pronounced "twee-lek", but Drig and I will never stop calling them "twai-lek", for various good reasons. But mostly because it resembles the word "twilight".

Boshuda

bellatendris

I pronounce it Twy-lek, but then I'm Southern, so, yeah, long vowels.

I know blue is popular...I sorry. Wanna just draw the dress for me? ;)
Put it on any color Twi'lek you like, except yellow. Yellow Twi'leks are bad juju in my universe.

I have a theory on the predomination of blue Twi'leks if anyone would be interested....

Lord Crumb

I'm Southern too. I'm from Northeast Mississipi and not twenty miles from Elvis Presley's birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi.

I think the think with blue Twi'leks is because of Aayla Secura and Mission Vao have made them so desirable. The purple, green, and tinted orange Twi'leks are neat though. Just my two cents.

-LC :-)

bellatendris

Actually, my theory has nothing to do with either Aayla Secura or Mission Vao ;)

Think about it: (Warning- this post may kill LOLcats, because I'm going to apply real world psychology)

Of all the colors Twi'leks come in, there are really only three that humans can't do- blue, green, and orange.

Want a red human? Native American (or Scottish girl with sunburn, yours truly)
Yellow? Asians.
Pink? Northern Europeans.
Purple? Cold Northern Europeans.
Black? Africa/Australia
Brown? Pick a place, too many to list.
Olive? Mediterranean/Northern Africa
White? Northern Europeans/Russians/Seattle...sorry, had to say it, I love my adopted hometown, but we're all ghosts here.

Technically, we can do green, if you don't mind the whole death-and-decay process.

Now, orange is not traditionally an "attractive" color, unless you're a fan of either UT Texas or UT Tennessee or Florida football.

Green? Little green men? How passe. This is SW, dammit, not the Twilight Zone.

That leaves blue, in all its shades, from azure to sapphire to indigo to topaz. We are attracted to the unusual, the unnatural, the straight-up exotic. Therefore, we like blue Twi'leks, because they are close enough to human for us to be comfortable with them (hey, the Empire wasn't totally wrong about everything) but the lekku and the skin colors make them sexy exotic. So, you take sexy blue, add lekku, and voila, everyone's favorite choice is a blue Twi'lek, especially given the fact that a majority of SW fans are guys.

Now that I've wowed you all with my amazing command of utter rubbish and the ability to apply logic in a completely useless way, will someone please draw my blue Twi'lek? I'll send you cookies.... *kitty eyes*

Xanamiar

Normally.. we'd call that a bump.. but it added so much to the discussion and was funny as all get out.. LOL...

Love the rubbish... ((I'm the Red headed, red/White skinned poor kind of fellow, so I sympathize with you.. :)

Hope someone picks it up for you.. but as everyone else has said... Blue Twi-leks are getting a bit old around here, so it may not spark the immagination as much as it used to :)

Asok

I don't know about your theory. We say humans come in shades of red, yellow, black and white, but really it's just a spectrum of brown with some pink thrown in.

I've always been partial to the green Twi'leks myself... (and the brown-colored humans, too, which I don't think we see enough of in Star Wars).

Boshuda

Bwa.

Me too! Practically all there is is Mace Windu...who is awesome.

I like odd-colored Twi'leks too! Orange ftw...

Oh, bellatendris, and P.S. I'm not a guild member...I was just saying I liked the character.

Asok

Don't forget Lando Calrissian now, the original coolest dude of Star Wars.

Boshuda

Bwa.

Oh, yeah! *facepalm* Kahaha, I'm such an idiot! *glomps Lando*

To Xanamiar: I'm NOT bumping, I'm replying!

Xanamiar

If it's not your request... there is no bumping.. thus why I haven't accused you of bumping :P ...

Though you do a lot of comments.. which is cool, it's nice to have an active forum.

Asok

I enjoy the occasional bump, seeing requests I had forgotten about rise again to my attention... (don't tell Xan!) ;)

Boshuda

Xanamiar

Hmmm... I'm starting to think that I've become the Bump Nazi... Oh well :P ... ((Be very careful who you tell that too Asok next thing you know, we'll have those 3 year old requests being bumped to the top ... ))

bellatendris

I have to say, coming from the female perspective, the only males I ever found attractive in any of the movies, regardless of species, were (big surprise here) Jango Fett and, oddly, Darth Maul. I like the dangerous types I guess. To each their own. And Asok, your comment inspired me a little bit...there's now a green Twi'lek named Gwyn playing a minor role in my novella.

For a space opera, there was a severe lack of eye candy for the ladies. Just sayin'.

Here's some Twi'lek related food for thought:

Female Twi'leks are gorgeous. Male Twi'leks are hideous.
Female Twi'leks can get pretty much any humanoid male they want, generally.
What's the impetus to breed with a male Twi'lek other than for procreation only?

Asok

Can't deny the appeal of Jango Fett, for sure. I'm just saying, Lando is up there too. Gotta give some propers to Mister Billy Dee. That's all. ;)

Boshuda

Drig

From what I hear Bella, Head Bumps are big turn on for the girls and the head tails for the guys... Uglier the bump, higher the Brad Pitt scale. :P

bellatendris

So that means Bib Fortuna would be a hottie? *retches a bit*

Did y'all see the four-lekku Senator in Revenge of the Sith? Apparently that's what happens when Twi'leks get pudgy.

Ok, I had something really funny to say there, but it's not PG. So I'll giggle to myself.

Asok

lol, but I want to hear it!

We really hijacked this thread, didn't we? :P

Boshuda

bellatendris

Hey, as long as it keeps my blue Twi'lek in people's thoughts, I'll....nevermind.

So, a pudgy Twi'lek gets more lekku...more head tails...which makes him more attractive to the ladies...so does that mean the more head tails the more tail? (still edited version)

Kit Fisto must be the happiest creature in the Galaxy.

Lord Crumb

Why do you think he is always smiling. Not to mention he did hook up with Aayla Secura in one issue.

-LC :-)

Bwa.

LC: My favorite issue. I swear, they should have stayed together...

Asok: Props to you for giving Lando notice...he IS hot...

I always found it hard to believe about Twi'lek females liking large cranial bumps, but hey...they're a different species. :) Bib Fortuna = hot? *dies of chronic brain loss due to disbelief*

bellatendris

I'm sorry, fellas, but every time I see Lando I think of Mr. Billy Dee as the mayor of Gotham City in the first Batman movie, and I just crack up laughing. I can't take him seriously- I've tried.

I think Bib Fortuna may be too ugly for even the girl Twi'leks- after all, you never saw Oola so much as look at him.

Bwa.

WOAH! Ahaha, Billy Dee played the mayor of Gotham?! Woah, man...I am seriously lol-ing!

Ahaha, Oola didn't get much play time (unfortunately; I kinda liked her...), and yeah, Bib is kind of a creep.

Lord Crumb

No, Billy Dee Williams did not play the mayor of Gotham in the Batman Movie. He played District Attorney Harvey Dent (A.K.A. Two-face) in the movie. I wish they had let him continue the part instead of giving it to Tommy Lee Jones in the Batman and Robin Movie.

Although I am pasty beige in color or an uncooked turkey as I tell my friends. I feel that other races were under represented in the SW Movies. I know....I know, you can not put everyone in movie but the books and comics give a greater representation of the SW Galaxy in the Rebellion and afterwards.

Billy Dee Williams as Lando rocked that character. Charming, sly, and down right cool.

-LC :-)

bellatendris

I stand corrected, LC. Well done. ;)

How about SW at least breaking the mold of all alien races speaking Basic with a British accent? It was properly menacing for Palpatine and the Imperials, but it would have been ludicrous to have Luke/Leia/Han/Wedge have it too. Someone once mentioned that it was an allegory for the war for American independence...but then again, some people will find allegory in the patterns of a litterbox.

Asok

Billy Dee's imdb biography begins with this: "Very good looking African American actor born in New York City with broad smile and gregarious manner..."

Dead-on. lol

Boshuda

Bwa.

Haha, that doesn't mean it's not true! XD

Asok: WTK (what the kriff) he was Two-face! I thought Two-face was white...@_@

LC: Dude, so right. And in the new animated series, Twi'leks have French accents! Whaaa? XD

Xanamiar

Everyone knows that if you want to make a sexy girl sexier, you give her a french accent.. So it kinda makes sense :)

Lord Crumb

The accents are what I like to hear when it comes to favorite characters. When Aayla Secura and some of the other Jedi appeared in The Clone Wars and they speak I get excited just hearing them speak. I then compare it with what I conceived they sounded like in my minds eye.

-LC :-)

Asok

French accents are gross. But I was digging that blue girl with the NZ accent in the cartoon.

Boshuda

Lord Crumb

Do you mean the blue female senator "Riyo Chuchi" from Pantoran in the SW:TCW episode "Trespass. Riyo Chuchi was portrayed by voice actress Jennifer Hale, who also played Aayla Secura in both "Jedi Crash" and "Defenders of Peace", plus the voice of Bastila Shan from "SW:KoTOR 1 & 2".

At the behest of the requester I will add this to my list of pending pictures...
