A word on requests

I know in the past we Swaggers had become a bit jaded by the strange influx of seemingly identical character requests, so now I'd like to draw everyone's attention once again to the request forum...
With concepts like "Nervous Rodian Botanist", "Kel Dor Stellar cartographer", "Cute Ortolan Female", "Delusional Droid Jedi", and "Jawa Warlord", our request forum is alive and teeming with the creativity of the Star Wars RPG universe. I'd like to say thanks and congratulations to all the non-artists out there for providing us with such a variety of freaking-cool characters! Your imaginations are hard at work, and I hope we artists can keep up! Keep the goodness coming!

I totally agree with you there Asok. So sometimes it's fun to do a tooled-up badass character or two, but for me it's the unusual and quirky characters that really grab my attention!

I'm new here, so almost everything seems cool to me, lol! I have a Blood carver and a ryn on the table to draw and I seriously cannot wait!

There are some really refreshing concepts up there, and I hope those ones get filled.

But I feel bad-- some of them have been there for awhile, and it seems as if there are alot of other, "lesser" (for lack of a badly needed better word) that get filled faster.

I thought briefly of suggesting we boycott Jedi or something until some of these other requests get filled, but it occurs to me that neither myself or anyone else has the right to say what a "good" request is.

If I ever get a chance to work on some of the request, I hope I can, it's been my experience that any character has charactor. I love to do ships ( though must admit..a little weak on the non livings ) but I get great enjoyment doing something to characters to make them unique. What the player leaves out is where licence takes over. It's my version of story writing which I can not do ( dixlexic....bad).
