I just gotta say...

Looking back at the art from the old days, everyone has been improving their art quality at a steady rate. But it's been so gradual you don't really notice, but when you take a few minutes to flip back through the older images from a few years ago, the difference just floors me.

SWAG has done a service not just to all those RPers who rely on the artwork, but it has done wonders for us as artists in the development of skill and execution.

I congratulate every fellow Guild Member artist for the outstanding work on this incredible archive of awesomeness.

I also kinda noticed a trend with the artist. Looking back at some of the styles, it almost seems as one artist stops posting the eventually are replaced by someone who has a simular style. It's like there are certain requirments unintentionally being cosmicly filled.

I really do enjoy going back and looking at all the older stuff and artist that dont drop by any longer. Would love it if we had all of them doing stuff at once, this place would be beautiful.

I really don't feel like I've been around long enough to quite merit standing under dred's KRIFFING AWESOME cloud, but, well, ditto on the sentiment to everyone else here! You guys rock.

Naaaaaw shucks! You flatter! :P But I maintain that I have BOUNDLESS room for improvement. There are LOADS of folk here whose own work keep me striving to do better!!

*peeks out from my hiding place... err... SWAG's worst best (or is that best worst?) kept secret - the Twi'lek Maseuse room down in SWAG's basement...* err... oops... cat's out of the bag now!... :P *whistles innocently* Erm... Of course you realize, Xanamair's gonna totally deny that if you ask about it...

Anywhoo, I'll raise a glass of Bespin Cloud Bubbly and drink to dredwulf's toast & cheers!

I will admit, I have never had a photoshop or digital art lesson in my life.
Everything I have learned so far has been through experimentation and emulation of some of the awesome techniques and styles I have found here.
I am proud to be a member.
