On practically every other discussion site, whether for starwars, battle tech, smoking, adnd, sex or what ever; that i have been on (even just to parouse), in addition to the "number of replies" column, there is a "number of people who have viewed this thread" column.
Could we get something like that for this site?

I have that information, but it's not exposed in a concise way. I'll put it as a feature request going into the next version.

I think it'd be awesome to have notifications on our profiles of when someone comments on our posts.

Maybe I should put together a new forum where you all can just suggest the various features you'd like in the next swag. I could hit low-hanging fruit and we could target the other things that I'm willing/interested in doing.
Going to contemplate this a little.
