I talked to Eclipse the other day, and he said that they are in the works of putting something into effect that should cut down on the spammers. Hopefull it will work and kill them off. Till then, we just have to be patient, as Eclipse can get to banning the offensive idiots.

No worries: I fronted her the dough, and she's here with me now. The bad news is, she's an avid Star Wars RPGer, and she's currently typing up 13 separate requests for her rpg character, who is a Jedi Mandalorian Zeltron Shard with 20 Strength, 19 Dexterity, 18 Intelligence, 21 Wisdom, 17 Constitution, and 22 Charisma, and has a lightsaber that is blue and red and black and silver and purple, and armour that reflects all known energies. Said character is a hero of the Clone Wars and the Rebellion, and has seen and done it all, and is currently fifteen years old.
Oh man, I want to draw that. Wait a minute... no, no I don't.

Funny, though: I also fronted the cash and got a request for a 16-legged Imperial walker/Bantha hybrid that has a back-mounted cannon that fires lightsaber chainsaws and chocolate, pocket Deathstars.
Oh man, I just totally imagined an anime Star Wars arena where wide-eyed combatants throw little death stars and mini rancors and acklays pop out, and fight each other while comically screeching their own names!

What is it with spammers singling out threads that have been dead for years? If you're going to mindlessly spam a forum, why on Earth would you browse through the numerous threads and go all the way to the back? Why not post on something more recent?
Why won't they all just spontaneously combust?!
...and I try and post this and get the good ol' "We are sorry, but the spam filter on this site decided that your submission could be spam. Please fill in the CAPTCHA below to get your submission accepted" message that loves to pop up for me but never seems to bother the spammers... >.<

The spam filters never seem to bother me. If these spambots were REALLY dedicated, they'd generate some artwork, put in a Guild submission, do some requests, and participate on the Guild Council. Then they could spam with impunity!
