Looks like they've been busy developing a Star Wars Card Game and a miniature game, but the RPG license is with them. So it's a matter of time before they publish an RPG. FFG's books are, in my opinion, very pretty pieces of dead trees! They take in submissions from a lot of talented artists!
So let's get these out of the way ---> Flame wars... Oh noes! Greedy Luca$film!... Oh noes! Not another version... Oh noes! D6 was the best!... No! D20 was the bestest!... NOOO!!! Saga was the bestestest!... YOU! No, YOU!... various ancient arguments.... yadda yadda yadda...
Screw all that. You! ARTISTS! Send your portfolio to FFG. Like, NOW! Get your foot in the door!
I'm not familiar with FFG so I've nothing to complain about; I'm curious to see what system they'll use and how it plays out. D6 and D20 both have their pros and cons, so I'm hoping that they will find a way to combine the best of both into a good, quick-paced and easy-to-learn system.
And I'd love to crack open one of their sourcebooks and see nothing but artwork from the artists here! Definitely encourage everyone to start sening in submissions!

lol, this is EXACTLY why I'm going to school for drawing; I just knew whoever picked up the license would probably be looking for people to do the artwork. Unfortunately, I don't have any qualifications or anything to put in a portfolio as of yet :(
