Please note this post is not in any way complaining about the need or placement for the banner ads, I just find some of them really funny.
My Top 3 List:
- Love Button, click me! (must ... click .... button ........)
- Lord's Gym (omg, that image will be burned into my soul as I descend into hell for having seen it)
- Princess Leia Metal Bikini (come on, you know you all own your own already so this ad is clearly presented to the wrong audience)
Am I alone in this?

Yeah, I've actually been meaning to block that love button one... I've not seen the Lord's Gym one yet.

The banner ads seem to have become more relevant lately, usually something StarWars or at least Sci-Fi/Fantasy related.
I have had some odd ones though and some not exactly safe for work viewing, but the funniest was one for pregnancy pants... wha?!
The banner ads that pop up on my computer are usually for asian wifes to bring to the U.S. The love button. Foxx underware ads. There was a star trek online gaming fourm banner ad at one time but haven't seen it since christmas.
Also have ebays ads with star wars related products for auction.
Just my two cents.

I came on today to check around to see what has been going on and I see a banner for Arablounge.com-rather odd on a Star Wars art site.

Yeah, I saw that one yesterday... we should make a SWAG banner.
The newest one I've seen on this site on my computer screen is International Korean Dating Site. KoreanCupid.com banner.
How much do you want to bet that the banners take key words from our posts, and picks out banners for us.
Since we didn't see the Korean one til Eclipse went to Korea, and we didn't see the banner one, till this topic was put up?
To test that we should come up with a word we could all end each comment with....like, colon or something stupid we are pretty sure will draw an ad.

I don't think it's working. I came here to see how well the plan was going and I saw no Bonsai. Instead I find the ad is for dating Ukrainian women. Maybe if the women knew how to grow Bonsai, but still, WHERE'S THE BONSAI!!!
I just had a new banner ad for dating Vietnamese and Ukrainian women show up on my version of this site. I've made no reference to any of this before. Why show up now.
