The droids I've been looking for.

I've finally hammered out my own Saga Edition droid creation rules, and am very pleased with them. Recently, my group got interested in buying and modifying droids, and I could see that twinkle in their eyes that said "I'm gonna buy a droid and turn it into a powergamerbot the size of the Death Star by squeezing and crunching numbers here and there and trying to convince the GM to make rules on the spot in which I can find myriad loopholes to exploit."

Sure enough, after telling them I'd have to come up with house rules that are neither as broken nor as lengthy as those presented (and contradicted) in multiple sourcebooks, I finally sat down and hashed it all out.
