Member since: 2007Hey everyone! I have exciting (for me) news! I recently did some album artwork for my friends' band, Andrew Jackson Jihad (don't ask). The album comes out September 11, and is available for pre-order at www.asianmanrecords.com. Check it out if you care to... I'm immensely proud of the work I did; it was a really great experience. Alot different than what you see on SWAG.
Anyway, the more people that buy this album (available on CD and Vinyl, in both brown and black--collect all three!), the more likely it is that I'll eventually see some money out of this. So please! Help me ride my friends' coattails to success!

I love the bee on the flowers. And the clouds. Good... too good..
The cover, the interior, and the layout were all done by yours truly. There are 5 sketches in the booklet, and a tray illustration, which is what we used for the vinyl cover.
Thanks Asok! That was our favorite pic from the album. I actually just got that bee tattooed on my right forearm to commemorate the occassion.
IT's funny how many iterations the cover art went through while we were trying to nail down a look. Originally the rabbit was airbrushed and kind of stupid looking, and then one day I accidentally turned off the render layer and realized how much better it looked with flat color. (I had done the yellowish highlight you see on that layer on accident hehe) It was after I drew the bee that I went back and made the clouds chalky looking. Overall I'm really really proud of how it all looks and how it all came together. I haven't gotten tired of holding it in my hands yet.
I can't see the large image, and no bees! I click on the "Info & Order" link and get nothing, is my browser blocking it?
Anyway, from what I can see, it looks great. Nice work CCR I hope it goes well for them and you! :)
Actually, if you click on that (or the picture) it shows a picture of the cd cover, and the vinyl cover (with the bee) right next to it. If it isn't coming up, it might be your browser.
