I recently made a ship based on a bird of prey (http://orig13.deviantart.net/280c/f/2015/260/7/2/the_raptor_by_theanarc…) that's seen some action in our Star Wars campaign and while I like it, I'd really like to see what an actual, talented artist can do with this. Getting a shot of it in motion would be really cool because I just couldn't pull that off. As always, I'm open to artistic interpretation. The Raptor doesn't have to look exactly as it does in my image so feel free to tinker with parts. I can tell you more about the ship and how it operates if anyone picks this up and is interested enough. Once again, thanks in advance to anyone who chooses to try this. :)

Xanamiar

Heh... has a lot of the same characteristics as Xanamiar Knight's ship...  except his didn't have a head that looked exactly like a bird, and the wings on his folded out for atmospheric flight, then back into the body of the ship.

Anarchangel

The Raptor's wings do fold out during flight but are locked behind it when landed like a normal bird. It can also lock it's wings into a similar backwards position during hyperspace travel etc.
